Overview - Second Language Acquisition
We do believe that providing teaching methods and practical strategies for English language teachers in Saudi Arabia will support and promote ESL students' English language. According to Gawi (2012), it is easier for children to learn other languages at an early age. For that reason, this bibliography is targeting English language teachers for kindergarten through third-grade students in Saudi Arabia.
Our research refers to the importance of knowing how to introduce, teach, and develop English language learning in Saudi children. This suggests that English language teachers in Saudi Arabia should know how to introduce the new language to children, how to teach the basic skills in English (e.g., reading, writing, listening, and speaking), how to motivate children to learn English by using different teaching methods and strategies, and how to improve children’s English language skills through improving their literacy.
